Additional Information

The Nezinscot Guild has been in operation for thirty years.  Over that time, the social enterprise has gone from being entirely dependent on government support to generating enough of its own income to be over 90% self-reliant.  The business’s clients range from specialty food companies seeking to add value to their products to Idexx Laboratories, a public corporation with which the Guild has had a strong working relationship for many years.  The Nezinscot Guild also offers its own line of wooden handmade products, including its newest product, the Original Maine Lobster Kit.   Proceeds from the sale of these products go back into programs serving individuals with disabilities, by whom the products are made.

Here’s a recent press article on the Nezinscot Guild’s “30 years of being bold.”
